SMS messages are a great way to communicate with your customers for booking reminders and marketing.
SMS credits can be purchased in packs, that carry over month-to-month and never expire. That way, you only have to buy as many SMS as your business needs.

Purchasing SMS credits
SMS can be purchased in packs – in a variety of different sizes, from 100 to 2,000 – so you only pay for what you will need.
The bigger the pack the cheaper the price per SMS, so take this into account when purchasing your packs. SMS credits never expire and carry over month to month, so there’s no time limit to use them up.
You’ll be able to view the pack prices in your account from Settings > SMS Credits page.
To buy a pack of SMS credits:
- Login to your bookitLive account
- Go to Settings > SMS credits:
- Select SMS package to purchase
- Select Purchase Credits
The SMS package purchase process uses your stored card details to make the purchase. If your card details are no longer valid or you do not have funds available the purchase will fail. You will need to supply new card details or add funds to reactivate the top-up.
To take the worry out of manually keeping your SMS credit balance topped up, bookitLive also provides an auto top-up feature. When this is enabled your SMS credits will never run out.
- Enabling Automatic top-ups
- Select Never run out of SMS credits by enabling auto top-up.
- Select the amount to topup
- Select the threshold
- Select Save
When automatic top-up has been enabled and your SMS balance dips below the threshold you chose, the selected pack will be purchased automatically and your SMS credits topped up.
The automatic top-up process uses your stored card details to make the purchase. If your card details are no longer valid or you do not have funds available the top-up will fail and an email notification sent to you indicating the top-up failed. You will need to supply new card details or add funds to reactivate the top-up.
