With our 4 ponies & horses, trained and purchased with the right temperament for the task, you’ll work through our systemised training program.  You’ll be riding confidently and effectively within 20 lessons – Guaranteed.

The lessons are one-on-one so you’ll learn at your own pace, and you’ll have your instructor’s absolute focus.  We’ll record your progress in your Log Book, and when it’s complete you’ll receive a Graduation Medallion.

We have a great system that we’ve been continually tweaking & developing for 26 years.  It’s strongly based on the system recommended by Horseridingcoach.com.

Natural Horsemanship concepts are woven in to the program too, so you’ll learn just how soft, quiet and willing a great riding horse can be.
We concentrate on Rider Bio-Mechanics first.  Once you know what’s going on underneath you, and how your body balances with the movement – then you can start concentrating on giving the horse directions!  Then we’ll add jumps!!!

The private lessons are half an hour of intense concentration, and cost $50 each.

Cappuccino - Mug

$4.00

Corang Estate Shiraz

$25.00

Australian shiraz is typically much sweeter and riper than European-style syrah or syrah blends so I wouldn’t personally pair it with French food - or Italian dishes come to that. Think big flavours - and spice.

Here are my six best pairings

* grilled or roast beef especially served rare or with a pepper sauce.

* barbecue, especially for younger less expensive shiraz and sparkling shiraz. Ribs, spicy sausages and smoked brisket in particular. Probably the best way to cook veggies if you’re looking for a vegetarian pairing

* big beefy stews such as ox cheek especially ones cooked in wine or with a touch of smoky spice like a chilli

* roast or grilled lamb, especially with more restrained Western Australia shiraz

* kangaroo. Sounds clichéed but Aussies do eat it and its rich gamey meat suits shiraz a treat. Failing that, venison

* Strong hard cheeses especially cheddar. With its sweetness it can also handle a mellow blue.

Perky Jo Coffee Beans 250 g

Absolutely delicious coffee! Toffee, caramel, hazelnut and pineapple notes in the aroma and flavour. It’s a blend of 2 roasts – with beans from Cerrado (a vast ecoregion of tropical savanna in eastern Brazil) and from New Guinea’s Highlands Area. Perky Jo won Bronze at the Australian International Coffee Awards in 2014.

Sully's Ciders

$18.00

Choose from the still ciders - Frisky Fox or Mad Hare - or a Sparkling Cider - Perky Pecker.

The ciders are made at the Old Cheese Factory in Reidsdale, by apples grown in orchards surrounding the Cheese Factory. The orchards were planted in the 1800's by the farmers as they settled in the area - buying the land with their successful gold fossicking finds.

Predominantly Irish, the miners/farmers set up successful cottage industries and many are still owned and run by their descendants today.

Bottoms up to these elders - who toiled hard, took crazy risks and invested sensibly with the opportunities they had to create a legacy for us to enjoy today.
