On My Way! Driver Training specialises in beginners with zero experience, nervous learners, those who want to learn how to be safer drivers, who are getting ready to take the test, and who want to pass the test on their first attempt.

This driving lesson is provided in an automatic BMW which has dual controls (pedals on the passenger side). This lesson is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday but is NOT available at night or on a Sunday.  NB Night lessons and Sunday lessons may be accessed via separate ‘Book lesson’ buttons. 

This is a 90-minute driving lesson, but it is done after sunset to help you get night driving experience and night hours in your logbook. You will learn how driving at night is different from driving during the day. Night lessons are usually available on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights.

In NSW, the 3-for-1 scheme triples your logged hours with a licensed driving instructor, but it does not shortcut your 20-hour night driving requirement. If you take a 90-minute night lesson, you get 1.5 night hours and 3 bonus day hours. This is because the 20 mandatory night hours must be physically driven.

This is a 90 minute driving lesson on a Sunday using my car with automatic transmission and dual controls (a brake pedal on the passenger side). Please let me know, before I get to your home, if you want to do this lesson in your car.  I am happy to do lessons in your car provided you have 100 hours of experience and it is registered, roadworthy, comprehensively insured and clean.

The first time you feel examiner pressure shouldn’t be on the day of your driving test. So in this lesson, we assess your driving using the official score sheet as we drive around a mock test route comprising 25 ‘zones’ simulating a real driving test. This will help you to get a sense of how you will perform in the real driving test (i.e. pass or fail) and, most importantly, what you need to focus on to improve your likelihood of success. Before we start the mock test, we revisit all of your manouvers (kerbside stop, three point turn and reverse parallel park).
