Your two-day M-GLS learner permit course will include:
- an eyesight test
- a motorcycle learner permit knowledge test
- an on-road and off-road assessment
Your motorcycle knowledge test is a paper-based test consisting of 32 questions. You will need to study the current version of the "Victorian Rider" handbook in order to prepare & will need to answer 25 questions correctly to pass (78% pass mark).
You’ll receive coaching in safe riding techniques and be progressively trained and assessed. The training is held at an off-road training centre. There will be two assessments involving on and off road at the end of Day 2.

Location: Calder Park, Victoria.
This course will take place on the off-road tracks at the Calder Park Raceway. These tracks have been designed to simulate those you would find in nature reserves and other off-road trails.
Lunch and snacks are included.
Requirements:
- Your own off-road capable motorcycle with appropriate tyres.
- Minimum motorcycle learner permit.
- Minimum recreational registration.
Who is it for?
Designed for riders new to adventure riding, as well as existing ADV riders wanting to improve their technique and confidence.
Suitable for a wide range of adventure motorcycles, from light ADV’s through to the big boys and everything in between.

- Body position, attack position and bike control.
- Throttle, clutch and braking techniques.
- Seated and standing riding.
- Slow-speed manoeuvring and tight turns.
- Inclines, declines and hill recovery.
- Bike recovery and obstacle management.
- Log crossings and sand riding.
- Consolidating your skills through guided riding.
