We are delighted to offer staff free soft-tissue muscle massages throughout 2019, compliments of the Chiropractic Clinic team. These sessions will take place once a month in 15 minute slots from 12-4 pm.

Final year chiropractic students will provide supervised soft-tissue muscle release massage. No oil or lotions will be used.

Please join Effy Alexakis, a leading documentary and portrait photographer, for a fun workshop where you will learn about the possibilities of the way light interacts with the subject and can be manipulated creating mood and atmosphere.

Effy works are in numerous collections both here and overseas including National Gallery of Australia. Effy has previously taught at the Australian Centre for Photography and has been employed as a photographer at Macquarie University since 1983.

Using new smart phone-based hearing screening technology, Master of Clinical Audiology students will be conducting hearing checks across campus and providing information and tips about how to protect your hearing.

The hearing check will take approximately 20 minutes.

Please come and join Katie Burke who is an experienced Group Fitness Instructor at Macquarie University Sport, a Psychology graduate from Macquarie and also holds a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She currently also works as a Counsellor at The Butterfly Foundation, a charity organisation that focuses on supporting people with eating disorders and body image issues. Katie has worked in Campus Life for a number of years and really understands the stress and self-care challenges we all experience in our everyday life.
